Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)

Do you have experience working in the engineering industry with a minimum Level 5 HND qualification or equivalent? Also, do you have knowledge of working with MOVU – an automated pallet shuttle system? If so, you could be the right fit for our Maintenance Engineer position!

Must be able to commute to CV23 9LP.

Job Description of a Maintenance Engineer:

• Maintain a fully automated MOVU system by identifying, diagnosing, and rectifying faults or issues

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) effectively, on time, and to the correct standard

• Complete all weekly statutory and compliance requirements and keep records up to date

• Liaise directly with suppliers and contractors

• Handle administrative tasks within the department, monitor spares usage, and perform stock checks

Aptitudes and Abilities of a Maintenance Engineer:

• You must be flexible and self-motivated, especially in this time-critical, high-pressure environment

• You should have excellent communication and administration skills, and be computer literate

• You need strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach

• You must feel confident working at all height levels

• Your skillset should ideally reflect a 70/30 electrical to mechanical bias

Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer

• Strong knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

• Hands-on experience with automated pallet systems in a warehouse environment

• Minimum completion of a Level 5 HND qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering

• Ability to pass vetting checks and provide references during the application process

• Legal right to work in the UK
