Job description

We are currently seeking Admin, Scanning and Mailroom operative for a leading global digital solutions company, to work on a seasonal project running until the early summer of next year.

As an Admin, Scanning and Mailroom Specialist, you will be working in a target driven environment where you will need to be flexible and multi-skilled, to support the client’s business needs in the timeliest manner. They will work individually and alongside the team to meet the business requirements in a production-based environment.

The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They must be able to always conduct themselves in a professional and mature manner and adhere to Iron Mountain core values. Full support and training are provided to assist in the multi skilled role.

START DATE FROM late November 2024

***No block holidays will be approved for the first 12 weeks

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving and inbounding mailroom documents.
  • Threat checking of inbound mail.
  • Opening of documents, batching, registering, validating, and scanning them into the database.
  • Batching of documents to prepare for registration.
  • Completing quality checks to ensure image quality and index quality is in accordance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Storing and retrieving documentation.
  • Carry out manual handling tasks as and when required.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed in line with site-specific targets for APH (Activities per hour).
  • Safety shoes will be required.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Administration experience, with mailroom knowledge being a distinct advantage.
  • Scanning knowledge and experience are preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in working to targets and service level agreements.
  • The ability to provide an excellent customer and client experience.
  • A high level of organisation with the capability to work under pressure.
  • A basic understanding of computers is required, with the ability to input and track items in the Records Centre.
  • A willingness to carry out manual handling tasks.
  • Comfortable working within a Records Centre in order to locate customer items within agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

Shifts available are Monday to Friday:

2.00PM – 10.00PM £12.27 + £15.00 Shift Allowance

You must be willing to complete a DBS check and provide 3 years of references.

You must have lived in the UK for 3 years and have a legal right to work.
